The muscle view in the reel on our home page is drawn with an anatomy atlas adapted from openly licensed models. The atlas, and the reel images rendered with it, are shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence.

Anatomy

• “Z-Anatomy - The libre 3D atlas of anatomy - CC-BY-SA 4.0”, github.com/Z-Anatomy/Models-of-human-anatomy. Authors: Kousaku Okubo (original model BodyParts3D), Gauthier Kervyn (design, 3D, anatomy), Marcin Zielinski (Blender add-on) and the contributors named in the upstream licence.
• “BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science licensed under CC Attribution 4.0 International”, dbarchive.biosciencedbc.jp. Z-Anatomy obtained the geometry under “BodyParts3D - The Database Center for Life Science - CC-BY-SA 2.1 Japan”.

Changes: we kept the skeletal muscles, connective tissue and supporting skeleton, fitted them to our body model and baked them into texture maps that light up as each muscle shortens or lengthens.
